Privacy Policy
As an author that values privacy, I have no intention of selling your information or profiting from any information provided. If personal information is collected in any way, it will not be shared without the explicit permission of the information owner. It's that simple.
The only way any collected information will used (via mechanics outside of the author's personal control) will be to ensure the website is in working order and any orders are processed accurately and in good faith.
That being said, there is relevant legislation requiring disclosure of certain items and handling of certain pieces that are beyond my control. As such, I've included the formal stuff below. Enjoy! Wait. No. Don't enjoy. Slog through it. It's miserable.
What to include in the Privacy Policy
Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors and customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much, much more.
